Spreading the scene of Japanese Shin-to (Kojiki) including the Takama-hara (高天原), the place where emperor Jimmu (神武天皇) became the first Japanese emperor, the place of the first declaration of human rights of Japan, in English and invite visitors from overseas (who love Japan) to Gose, as a place for sightseeing that is the oldest place in Japan.
Becoming a place for sightseeing like a sacred place of three big religions that is Jerusalem in Israel.
Hi there. I really have to apologize that I haven’t written a new post those past months. It was really difficult to do it because my life had changed a lot, I worked 7 days per week, wanted to meet with friends, drank too much, drank too much and drank too much. Actually, I think that I could write a new post if I didn’t drink too much and tried to write a few word day by day, but I’m sorry that I couldn’t do it. I had a miserable heart as I had it before I started this blog as you already know and I was with that heart those past months because I already came back to Japan. However, I want to restart writing this blog because my life got a slower pace again.
So, I want to write about what’s happened in my new life next time but I want to get back on track with what I wrote a few months ago. I went back to my hometown, I met a lot of people who want to revitalize Gose, I went to a lot of places that, based on Kojiki, Gose has and I wrote down the plan on how to revitalize Gose. On this post, I want to write about this plan which I wrote that time.
Establish English HP “gose.com”
・Put #Gose on SNS including FB, Instagram, Tweeter.
・Make handbills in English and distribute them to all places of sightseeing around Japan or all over the world.
Establish a guesthouse “Gose house”
・Making a guesthouse where anybody is able to stay for free or just with donations, in Gose-machi (the town has been there since 400 years ago).
・Let guests who stay over 3 days, help farmer who have farmland but who are old or short-handed and make good vegetables.
・Let overseas students who study agriculture stay there for free.
・Guests can eat good Japanese breakfast made from organic vegetable and organic rice.
・Attaching a bar, a cafe and farmer’s market to the guesthouse and let guests make money to help their travel.
・”Kanpai (cheers)” with Sake made from organic rice in Gose and spread it all over the world.
・No Tech- Keeping customer’s smartphone or laptop and make them enjoy a relationship with people who come to the guesthouse, realize the importance of natural encounter with a good conversation. (only in a special place you can do it)
・Holding tour of Shinto, Bon-dance, Hanami..etc
Rebuilding “Gose-machi” and “Shinchi shopping street”
・Open the vacant houses of Gose-machi and Shinchi shopping street to artists who come from all over the world for free. (Or pay some percentage of profit for house rent.)
・Make Gose-machi map (introduce the shops or artists with handbills and internet.)
・Restaurants, cafes, open spaces, schools (for everybody), bars, shops etc.. Let anybody who wants to do something, whatever they want to do, do it.
・Providing the place where you can meet a specialist of each field for kids, let kids learn special techniques, grow their mind or learn a second language including English and let kids be an excellent human who can spread their wings in the world.
・Handing down good points, including traditional techniques to people from over the world or young people.
To be continued…
