Nara prefecture is an inland prefecture surrounded by Osaka, Kyoto, Mie, Wakayama and it is located in the west part of Japan called Kansai (関西).
They used to call it Yamato and there was the Imperial court “Yamato-chotei” (大和朝廷) a long long time ago as I mentioned in my last post. The most famous things of Nara are the Great Buddha of Todai-ji (東大寺 the biggest woody building entire the world), uncounted deer that are around Todai-ji, a Kaki (Japanese persimmon) and… Yes, That’s all.
Also, My home town called Gose (御所 means the place where the emperor lives in Kanji) which I mentioned in the previous posts, is located between two mountains called Mt. Katsuragi and Mt, Kongou in the western Nara.
There are two railways JR Nishi-nihon (JR西日本) and Kintetsu (近鉄) and the number of population is 27,000 (the smallest population of any city in Nara and 10,000 people less than when I used to live there).
This is our city’s symbol
and this is our mascot “Gosen-chan (ゴセンちゃん)”
The most famous things of Gose are
90% of Ben-san (Toilet sandals) are produced in Gose (It means that I live life of shit from birth)
Also, the first declaration of human rights of Japan called Suihei-sha declaration of independent (水平社独立宣言) also happened in Gose (It means that I’m living the ghetto life from birth)
furthermore, Yes!! Awesome foods from Guri-Yoshi which everybody already knows from my posts.
This is Gose city, the town where I was born and grew up until I was 20 years old.
Hi there. At first, I have to apologize that I couldn’t write any posts in those past two weeks. I had fucking crazy days and nights every day for 2 weeks but It was just my fault because I think that if I didn’t drink too much alcohol, I absolutely could have written it. So, I’ll write about it next time and I want to continue writing about my hometown as in those previous posts.
After I heard of the situation in Gose and Gose’s history from friends of mine who went to Guri-Yoshi and Gri-Yoshi’s mom, I went to those places where it seems to be the base of Kojiki (but not sure).
