Without even realizing it, I am only less than 1 week away before I go back to Japan. The journey which I started since January of 2015 to improve my English, will end soon and now, I’m just enjoying the most peaceful beach in the entire world, every day until I leave. I’m not sure if the homecoming will be temporarily or not and how many terms I will stay in Japan. However, I think that my English didn’t improve well enough and it is not enough to write a book yet and I first have to talk with my family and the staff of my bar Ghetto about it when I come back.
Well, Today I want to write about the things that I want to do in Tokyo if I will decide to stay there for a while. I already have one big thing to do when I go back to Japan which I mentioned in some older posts.
OMG… Why on earth did I write a big project!! Of course, I will start this project too, but today, I want to tell you about a more easy project which I want to do, I want to start it as soon as I get back in Japan and also, I need your kind help when I start it.
Well, What will I want to do?
The things to do when I go back to Japan are “Reopen Cafe Olline as a language school”
I had a cafe called Cafe Olline which was in the same place as bar Ghetto in Shimokitazawa Tokyo. I want to write more details about why I could have Cafe Olline, on my story page next time, but I just want to write about how Cafe Olline was, on this post. We started the cafe with a Romanian girl named Miha since the 15th September of 2013. She was a regular customer of our bar and she told me if she got back to Romania, she would want to open her own cafe and so, we started to open it as soon as I heard her dream because we didn’t use the place of the bar Ghetto during day time.
At first, the different point between Cafe Olline and other cafes in Japan is that she cannot speak Japanese. I really remember that she could speak Japanese, only 2 words “Nihongo : means Japanese” and “Wakaranai : means I don’t know” when we started that cafe. However, I was sure that it was no problem and I was also sure that it will be our strong point. As I was expected, the cafe and her, attracted the customers who wanted to speak English. There are a lot of customers who study English and a lot of customers who stay in Japan from all over the world. I also studied English with her and a lot of foreign customers, with a good cup of coffee. As a matter of fact, the person who always checks my sentences before I publish my post and who attracted a lot of foreign customers and let them drink at the Ghetto bar, and Who is the reason why Bar Ghetto has foreign customers (30% of all customers) is exactly Miha and Cafe Olline.
However, since January of 2015, cafe Olline hasn’t open again because Miha was pregnant and she gave birth to a very cute girl. Of course, I’m very happy that she became the mom of a cute girl like an angel and she still keeps checking my sentences and teaching me English. However, I think that nobody is using ghetto’s space during daytime and it is such a waste of space & cost of rent.
Well, The thing to do when I go back to Japan is that I want to open the cafe Olline again and I want to open a language school for all my friends who want to study a second language in there. Furthermore, I want to call it “the bilingual cafe: Cafe Olline” and I want all the customers who come there to be bilingual in 1 year.
Easy to say, I want to continue studying English even if I will stay in Japan and because of that, I want to create an environment to do it with everybody who also wants to do it with me.
Of course, I’m stupid as you know and I don’t have enough English skills to teach it to somebody, but I really know how difficult learning a new language is, with my past 5 years in which I spent the time to study English and I can understand your anguish of learning a new language. I also know how to learn a new language in a more interesting way, I know the things that will interfere with your learning, then, of course, I really know the Japanese language and I can teach you within a very funny way which you never met before.
Well, How I will run “the bilingual cafe: Cafe Olline”?
I want to write about it on the next post and I want to invite you to be a student or a member of teaching.
